The Onsite Clinic User Group and Survey

Companies that offer onsite clinics are enthusiastic about the ability to save money, improve health, boost productivity, reduce absenteeism and create satisfied employees.

In 2013, The Alliance held its first onsite clinic user group meeting to allow employers to share information about their onsite clinics and identify opportunities for The Alliance to provide support.

A related survey identified barriers to establishing onsite clinics, including misconceptions about staffing and facilities. The survey revealed that companies with little exposure to onsite clinics appear to overestimate the resources required to start a clinic while underestimating the rewards.

Running an Onsite Clinic

In this video Mark describes the initial research process, purchasing the equipment, staffing and operating the clinic, keeping patient information secure, the savings, and the advantages to employees.

The Alliance is exploring ways to help both members with existing onsite clinics and members who are interested in starting an onsite clinic.
