The goal of The Alliance's health policy function is to:
- Provide timely and objective information to members,
- Become a resource to public policy makers, and
- Take action on issues that are likely to impact Alliance members and that are consistent with our mission.
Our health policy platform is focused on the following areas:
- Promoting health care quality transparency.
- Aligning incentives to promote greater value.
- Providing tools and support for individuals to become "informed health care consumers".
- Improving the health care marketplace.

Law Passed on Tax Treatment of Adult Dependents
Senate Bill 203, authored by Senator Van Wanggaard and Representative Pat Strachota with the help of The Alliance, was signed into law by Governor Scott Walker as 2011 Wisconsin Act 49 on Friday, November 4, 2011.
