Marshfield Clinic is now part of The Alliance provider network which means a significant expansion of access to primary and specialty care in northern, central and western Wisconsin.

Adding Marshfield Clinic to The Alliance network will increase “in-network” access to medical care in 29 Wisconsin cities and 15 counties. Marshfield Clinic has more than 700 physicians in 86 different medical specialties.

In addition, Marshfield Clinic has four ambulatory surgery centers in Eau Claire, Marshfield, Minocqua and Wausau. Post-surgical care at three of these sites recently expanded to include 24-hour care from nurses and doctors at a skilled nursing facility level.

Marshfield Clinic was founded in 1916 and is celebrating 100 years of service to patients this year. In fiscal year 2014, the clinic delivered primary and specialty care to more than 350,000 unique patients at more than 50 locations.

Its parent organization is Marshfield Clinic Health System, which also includes Marshfield Clinic Information Services; Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc.; Lakeview Medical Center, Rice Lake; and Flambeau Hospital, Park Falls, co-owned and operated with Ministry Health Care. (Lakeview Medical Center and Flambeau Hospital are not yet part of The Alliance network.)

Marshfield Clinic can be found by employees and family members through Find a Doctor.
