Fight the 40 Advocacy Efforts — Click the Link to Take Action

Grassroots Advocacy Made Easy: The Alliance to Fight the 40's "Take Action" Link Allows You to Share Your Cadillac Tax Concerns in Just a Few Clicks

Last year, very few issues shared bipartisan support within Congress like the issues surrounding opposition to the 40 percent tax on high premium health insurance plans. As a result, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) was amended to include a two-year delay until 2020 of the tax, more commonly known to you as the “Cadillac Tax”.

The Alliance to Fight the 40 Logo

While you can breathe a momentary sigh of relief from the immediate implications of the Cadillac tax on your business and your employees, the push for full repeal of the tax still continues in Washington. The Alliance to Fight the 40 is encouraging both employers and employees alike to share their concerns with their Congressional representatives as we move through the elections, and toward new federal budget considerations in 2017.

To assist you in your advocacy efforts, Fight the 40 has created a “Take Action” link on their website to allow you to send an automatic letter to your elected officials in Washington.

By visiting this link: www.fightthe40.com/take-action/ and entering your email address and zip code, you will generate a list of the elected officials that represent you and/or your business. From there, you can review your message and customize your signature before sending. This is just one quick and easy way to share your concerns about the Cadillac Tax and urge Congress and the Administration to protect employer-sponsored health care coverage.
